Day 2: A poem based on the song that was #1 on the day you were born

The song for 7/23/87 is not giving me anything, so for today, I'm pretending I was born in 1986...WAY better. The song is linked below.

bunching breaking twisting tiring
and the lift:
straight up
to the sky.

A beat
starts with the quiet murmur of
burns loud
and jealous.
